Hello!

Just giving you all a heads up that I won't be uploading anything new for the rest of the year. That includes the next chapter for the Christmas Play story but don't worry, I'll continue it next Christmas (2014).

I was going through my folders on my desktop and actual folders on my desk, and realized I have a mass collection of Batman & Sons short comics as well as two completed stories drawn out that I need to get my butt going on to colorize them. Now that the last two years of my life have started to slow down, I'm looking forward to getting these done.

The funny thing about me is that no matter how busy I am, I continue to draw out these stories with Bruce and boys. I really love doing them and I want to give you a sneak peek of one of the panels from the new story I'm working on right now. But I'm being honest, it may not be done for about two years or so.

So I'll leave you wondering, "What are Bruce's three little rascals doing with Captain Carrot?"

No Comic Con

First off, I want to apologize for not updating my blog recently with the new drawings I have done concerning the San Diego Comic Con. A few folks at deviantART and Facebook asked if I was going and I let them know I wasn't.

But the worse part was, I had to tell the boys...

Since I didn't include Dick in the first drawing, it was asked, "What he was going as?" 

Since I hate to disappoint the boys, I led them in a cheer of...

Now for something completely different... (Well, almost) Meet Butch and Sunny

With the exception of Isis, Rozz (she can be found in the DC Super-Pets comics), and a black panther named Hecate (Many thanks to Icon-UK for the infor), Selina's cats have been nameless and only visible in the background.

After having seen the pages from the new Catwoman series, an idea started brewing and I tried to convince myself not to do it because of the work I'm doing on Batman and Sons during my free time. But I didn't listen (and who knows, some of us might think I should have).

But I did it and I love it!





It's not hard to figure out where Butch and Sunny got their names from unless you never heard of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. But deep down in my heart, I'm really naming them after the actors who portrayed the outlaws. That movie was the first PG movie I saw as a kid (Yes, I'm that old) and that experience always stayed fresh in my mind. It was a milestone to me.

Selina's Cats do take place in the Batman and Sons universe. So once in awhile, they'll pop up.

I'm here to wish you a Merry Christmas--

Ace in the Hole Part 1

Before we get started I want to let you that I decided to put the one-panel holiday drawings and the DC Families drawings on hiatus for one year (The Death Clan, in part 3 of this post, is the last one for now). My reason is I want to spend more time working on the stories that are piling up not only on my drawing pad but inside my head. I can't predict how much I will get done in a year, but I want to try without any extra artwork in the way. Real life is already a handful.

Also there is a chance I might not update every month like I normally do if the artwork is not ready.
